Result of a "necking test" on a copper pipe, which was tried with a necking machine built in 2005. "Necking" followed by "hydroforming" is a technique which might provide us with a breakthrough in inexpensively manufacturing multi-cell cavities, without heavily relying on the costly electro-welding processes.
